Saturday was a 'catch up' day after our five days in Galilee. It was a chance to sleep and for
us to allow all the experiences to take root in us and reflect - as well as
spending hours doing the 'blog'. In the evening most of our group and some
staff went to Ein Karem to a restaurant for dinner.
On Sunday three of us went into the Old City to Mass at the Dormition Church which is run by the Benedictines. The Church of the Dormition recalls "the sleeping" of Mary at the end of her life. The Mass was in German and the chanting was beautiful.
